About Maggie Hennessy, LPC-A

Hi! I am Maggie Hennessy, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate serving the state of South Carolina, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective support to individuals and families. My journey into mental health began with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, which laid the foundation for my commitment to understanding the human mind and behavior. I furthered my education at Clemson University, earning both M.Ed. and Ed.S. degrees in Counselor Education with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Having personally navigated the challenges of chronic illness for more than half of my life, I deeply understand the complexities of living with ongoing health struggles. This personal experience has fueled my passion for helping others who are facing similar obstacles, and I strive to offer a safe, empathetic space where healing and growth can occur.

In my practice, I am also particularly passionate about working with those experiencing anxiety, stress, major life adjustments, as well as issues related to self-esteem and body image. My goal is to support you through every step of your journey, helping you build resilience, find balance, and embrace the possibility of a brighter, more fulfilling future.

I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges and work towards meaningful change.
